Brokeback the Kid

I randomly came across the first picture of Robert Redford and Paul Newman from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969). It immediately reminded me of the second shot of Jake Gyllenhal and Heath Ledger from Brokeback Mountain (2005). I've never seen Butch Cassidy, surprisingly, especially since Rob and Paul are my two faves from the 60's/70's. I did google the names of both films simultaneously and one recent review of Butch Cassidy drew comparisons to Brokeback. I'm going to have to watch BCSK now and see what's up.

This is one of the many ways I spent my St. Patrick's night. Kind of sad, I suppose...
